		<description>This is nothing more than the wingnut pipe-dream of having Lori Sotello (or another Katherine Harris wanna-be) deciding whose votes count. Back when I bothered commenting there, I pointed out that the same electorate which re-elects Ron Sims in gigantic landslides would choose the Elections Director as well. Since I&#039;d based my argument on an actual fact, they were required to ignore it.</description>

		<description>Not that I have a strong opinion about I-25, but I am fascinated by how much Sharkansky wants to have more elected officials in a place where hardly anyone shares his political outlook.  I don&#039;t really see there being a big difference in the eventual political outlook of the person who would end up in that role.  Maybe I haven&#039;t been following this thing closely enough.</description>
